Intelligence reports in a time of war should be kept confidential.

Are you talking about the NSA phone tapping? The reason is because if the full report is released to the public, agents involved would be put at risk. Why should someones life be put in jeopardy if all they were doing was their job? Honestly, I don't see a problem with the phone tapping. I don't have anything to hide. All it can do is help, what if they do manage to catch terrorists?

No,

Do some homework.

The Democrats let part out to make the Republicans look bad, so Bush had to let the context out that explained the limited statement.

The report was NEVER planned to be public.

There are many things we do not want our enemy to know.

If you think EITHER party is good, you need to get your head out of the sand.

We need a 3rd. Party.

Peace!

i completely agree with Bush being a deceptive ***, but there is a lot to hide. They don't want to show HOW they acquired a lot of the information. If terrorists know how we currently get our information about them, they can take measures to circumvent our methods of aquiring intelligence. I don't want that becoming public.

It happens to be a classified report containing intelligence regarding our national security.....Do you think we have a bubble over the US that doesn't allow our enemies to see this report if it were released?

Yeah! National secrets that your nosy liberal left media does not need to exploit all over the news for the enemy to leverage.

of course he has something to hide. LOTS of somethings.

He even blocked the USDA from releaseing the Plant Hardiness Zone chart using the 2004 data because it shows the zones are changing - pointing to possible global warming, and he wants to supress the info, and any discussion. And that's even more trivial than the NIE report...

Bush is trying to save the lib-tards (like you for instance) and the rest of the dim-witted Dems the opportunity from embarrassing themselves further...LOL!

Personally I think Bush should release it...

It would show their neglect in not acting in the best interest of our troops and our country since they sat on it for so long...
