"Night," by Eli Wiesel, is an extraordinary example of Holocaust literature, but kinda graphic, depending on age. Our class read it in 8th grade, so, take it from there. "Number the Stars" is for younger children, and it deals with pre-concentration camp life, 4th grade-ish. Same with "When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit." "The Devil's Arithmetic." All of these are YA or younger age books.

I hope your reading them to enlighten yourself to the tragedy that occurred and not to emulate any of the perpetrators. The best one I have read in the last couple of years is Night by Elie Wiesel. It was one of Oprah's books of the month. Then there is one called Day which tells about some of the things he was going through after the war was over and he cam to America. Very good reading. There is also one called "Everything but my Life" and I can't remember the author's name.
