Oddly enough, my cycles did even out for the 3 months I was on, but they regulated at 35 days. The purpose of the clomid, however, is actually to make you ovulate, not regulate your cycles. It's still very possible that the drug is doing its job. If there's still time this month, or if you'll be on it for a while longer, make sure to get ovulation predictor kits (available at your local pharmacy by the pg tests), especially if you're still having a timing conflict. Although, when I took mine, the test results peaked once the 2nd month but never showed "positive" per the test instructions, and the 3rd month it never came close, but that's when I conceived.

If you're concerned about the length/regularity of the periods, talk to your doctor. And in the mean time, just keep trying. It'll happen for you eventually. Good luck.

Clomid helps you to ovulate, but doesn't necessarily regulate your cycles. My OB has me take a blood test by day 32. If I'm not pregnant, I can take Prometrium (progesterone) to help me start my new cycle so I don't have to wait. I'm on my 3rd month with Clomid as well, but so far my cycles have been regular. I conceived my daughter on Clomid, but it took 8 months. During that time my cycles were a few days longer than normal. My OB informed me that Clomid does thin your lining, so your period should be lighter than normal. Maybe that's what is causing the delay in your cycle?
