Tilex mildew root remover is an awesome product, one bottle has lasted me a year! and I have mildew free tile & grout! It is a bleach base, so don't use it at the same time with any other soaps or detergents. A daily after shower spray will also help, but don't use them back to back, otherwise the fumes will knock you silly...

There are a couple of different brands of a product that you simply spray on the tiles after you take a shower. The product displaces water and therefore mildew does not form. It works great. I think one might be Clean Shower and then there is a Tilex one (not the regular Tilex, but a clean shower Tilex)

Mildew can only grow if moisture stays in the room excessively; be sure to let the room/shower stall air out by leaving the shower curtain/bathroom door/window open as much as possible after showering.

Mildew grows where it's dark and damp. So get a dehumidifier or run a vent while bathing. And a spray bottel of Clorox will wipe out any mildew already there.

Wipe down the tiles with a squeegee after your shower, it only takes a couple of minutes. Also, be sure to leave your shower door or shower curtain open until the shower is dry.

Spring is a very sturdy time to get rid of the gunge out of your whitewall tires, my darling...or you should use the toothbrush to comb computer virus carcasses out of lighting fixtures furnishings. you're so handy around the abode!! I frequently be apologetic about no longer having used my ex's toothbrush to bathe the gack that accumulates round sinks, in spite of the indisputable fact that it really isn't any need crying over spilled grunge. I'm pretty sure they make an after shower spray for that, I don't know what it's called. You can also squigee(don't know how to spell that)your shower walls after you shower.
