You can get pregnant at the time of ovulation (if you've had sex and there are sperm cells that come into contact with your egg) or up to 12 - 24 hours after ovulation because your egg will stay in your fallopian tube for up to 12 to 24 hours before degrading if not fertilized. There really aren't any other times of possibly getting pregnant because you must have an egg and sperm cell to become pregnant.

If you want to get better odds for a girl have sex about a day or two before ovulation. Girl sperm swim slower and live longer in the uterus. The girls will be waiting for the egg when it arrives-
If you want to get better odds for a boy have sex during ovulation. Boy sperm swim faster and live a short time in the uterus. They usually make it to the egg first.
Of course this doesn't really increase your chances by much more than 10-15% but it worked for me. I have a daughter.

Your odds of becoming pregant are best when you are ovulating. After you ovulated the egg which was released will live 12-24 hours.

actually before ovulation then when ovulating and also remember you can ovulate more then once a month remember sperm lives anywhere from 3 to 5 days inside you so if you have sex 5 days prior to ovulating then theres i possibility you could have conceived good luck
