Well, I like what I think is perhaps their last song - "This Is Where I Came In". (It was a new song they recorded and released on their "Greatest Hits; The Record" CD.)

I must confess that part of the reason I like it, is the INTRIGUE in the lyrics! The first time I heard it I was agog - was I really hearing what I thought I was hearing? These brothers, who were considered heartthrobs by so many girls and women over the decades, possibly singing about one of them being GAY or BISEXUAL???? I'm still not certain if that's the story, but it's fun to ponder.

Wondering why I say that? Listen carefully to this song, and you will hear them singing of "the love will never speak its name" - a reference to "the love that dares not speak its name"? (This used to be code for gay relationships).

Lines in the song:

- ... day turns into night....
- Time has come.... I'll go anywhere, yes, I'll go anywhere with you
- This is the danger zone...this is where I came in.... they know not what they do. Forgive them of their sins.
- They know they cannot take away what you have given me.
- This is just where I came in.
- Fade into colour, and colour into black and white - under the bedclothes, everything will be all right.
- I know that you know nothing ever stays the same. You said so, I said so. The love will never speak its name.
- could never make a move on a woman that leads me on - you got a little bit of something for everyone
- I always told myself I would regret this day; that I would fall apart and watch you walk away....

I'm not a huge Bee Gees fan. I only vaguely remember their music, but Too Much Heaven is nice.

I think you just know great music when you hear it! My favorite by The Bee Gees Is their tribute version of "Don't Throw It All Away (Our Love, Our Love)" recorded just after youngest brother Andy died.

It's a toss-up between "To Love Somebody" and "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart"...the orchestration on both is just excellent.
