He had no choice but to admit to it. The other alternative is to deny it and let it drag out. Its nothing more than political spin control. It wasn't like he had a crisis of conscience.
Besides it doesn't matter if he admitted to it or not. Bottom line is he was wrong and he performed the same type of act while in office.

Of course they won't, they'll just sweep it under the carpet like all the rest of their shenanigans. Now, he may have a tough battle ahead for his seat. But of course this stuff isn't big news. If it had been a demo, we would have been hearing about it for weeks. This is probably the only mention we'll get of this one.
Omission is the same as lying, at least thats what I try to teach my daughter. It was a five year affair, that's five years of omission. He also tried to strangle her, oh yeah, but that doesn't count. Even though I would have to say that attempted murder is way worse than lying under oath. The problem is Clinton should have never been asked question like that. I 'm sure if your buddy had been confronted in the spotlight about it, he would have lied.
