Sure, but if you ask a specific question, you'll get better answers. Until then, I'd look at Jensen's Art History of the world, or a similar title...it'll take you through all the periods and explain them well.

for basics, go to the web sites below. i often use it in my studies for basic reference. it may not answer all your questions, but you will get an idea of things. each period is pretty complex.
