UFOs are real. Hundreds of thousands of UFOs have been sighted around the world without any explanation. These are sightings that were INVESTIGATED and have been PROVEN NOT to be planes, balloons, planets, birds, helicopters or any other known object. They break off and reform in patterns. We don't know what they are. I would not say there is enough proof to say they are aliens, but they may be. UFOs certainly don't appear to be part of 21st century technology.
Carl Sagan did not take into account that we have only had flight technology for about 100 years. The universe is over 5 billion years old. Given a million or a billion years of technology head start, who knows what a civilization could develop. They may be able to get here in a matter of seconds. Who knows?

Of course, there are PLENTY of UFO's!
There is always an explanation, although the observer may never realize the true nature of what they see.
Are they spaceships from other worlds? Of course NOT!
Aliens are definitely real. They are probably NOT little green men or "ET" beings. Most may not even be seen or recognized by humans. We think in terms of what we know and what we can see.

Carl Sagan said that if there is no other intelligent life out there then it's really big waste of space ( or something to that effect). The real debate is not whether there is extra terrestrial life - an infinite universe would have to support life aside from us - but whether they could visit our planet. Intra-planetary travel would involve a technology far superior to ours; even travelling at the speed of light wouldn't cut it. Then...even if they found a way, we would be so technologically inferior that it might be a wasted journey for them....

yes there are ufos and aliens out there. I have never seen any but my mom (she never lies) told me she saw them back in the 50's. she saw the ufo land and aliens get out walk around and then get back in their ship and fly away.

U.F.O. stands for Unidenti-fied-object. So I'm sure that there are U.F.O.'s out there; at least for the moment. There may be or may not be aliens out there, but if there are, I don't think we have any sort of credible proof.
