Hi I am learning English now and would like to ask 2 English questions. Thanks.
Q1:
A: Does this sweater come in any other color? I think it is too garish for my mother.
B: (Two choices , please choose the most suitable answe r/or correct one)
1.How old is your mother?
2.I'm afraid that your mother is hard to get along with.

Q2:
A: Something terrible happened to Gertrude's cat.
B:(three choices below, please choose the best one...also I would like to know if answer 2 has any words not needed.) (I guess the word" one" should not appear in sentence 2)
1.She got choked.
2.It got run over one too many times yesterday.
3.She takes it personally.

Thanks again for all your answers.

Question 1 is referring to a sweater that someone is looking to buy from a store. A sales clerk would most likely respond with Answer 1: "How old is your mother?"

Question 2 discusses a bad situation involving a pet. The first answer is grammatically incorrect. Never say the words, "she got" back to back. You could remove the word "got" and answer, "She choked." Answer #2 is a bit odd, but it could be used as an answer and is the best choice of all three - but more in a dark humor way. To say that the cat was run over "one too many times" is just cruel for an animal lover! However, to answer your question, no, the word "one" is completely acceptable in this response.
Number 3 is not a proper answer. Of all of the answers for question 2, I would personally select the second answer.

I hope this helps! :)

Q1 Answer B 1 is correct. B2 is not an appropriate response to the question.
Q2 Answer 2 is correct and "one" should stay in the sentence. Answer 1 is poor grammar and answer 3 is not appropriate.

What on earth are you talking about??!! I don't think you will need to use those questions very often in general conversation! Anyway, the most suitable answer to question one would be 1.
Question number two would have to be answered by 1 also. Good luck with your English!

erm question 1 doesn't make any sence you have asked if the garment comes in any other colour, and then your answers are not related to colour. your mothers age or the fact that she may be hard to get along with is not neccasary.
Question 2 isnt set out as a question, one could have been replaced with answer, and again not all your answers correspond to your question.

In Q1, the english is fine although "garish" is not used that often and some of your listeners may not understand. In Q2, replace "got" with "was".
