In a press conference in Ft. Lauderdale Florida Rudy Giuliani stated that he was "very interested in considering" a run for president but would not make a decision until after the november election.

The question is a 2 parter:
Will you vote for Rudy if he runs?
If he runs and wins can Rudy help heal the political divide in the country in your opinion?

Whether I would vote for Giuliani for President in 2008 is difficult to say. If he were the candidate in the General election I certainly would vote for him. In the Primary it would be a different question. I would have to look at all the candidates and see where they stand.

I believe that the far left wing liberals like Pelosi, Schumer, Kennedy, Reid and Kerry will never compromise or change their message of hate. They don't offer positive or truthful messages and that is what people want to hear. I believe he will heal the divide with moderate democrats - and possibly the far right will have lost their influence and moderate Republicans will stand up and be counted.

Sorry, but I would NOT vote for Rudy Guliani in ANY capacity.

If he runs and wins, he has his work cut out for him. I am not sure he can heal the political divide. That will take a LOOONG time (no matter who is in office)

Q1: Yes.
Q2: who knows. American voters are very fickle and are easily swayed by the personality of a candidate over their substance.

It also depends on if Giuliani runs, who his running mate will be.
I'd love to see Colin Powell take the number 2 slot on that ticket.

All depends on who's running against him. He's obvioously not that qualified. I would like to see who else goes up for that spot first.
