if it were me and this were my family, the niece would get either a nice purple top and a gift card to a music store or a gift card to one of her favorite clothing stores or one for the mall. The nephew would get a gift card to the local game stop. My parents don't like us to buy for them either but I always do. I would put together a gardening gift for you dad. A new trowel, packages of seeds, new gloves, one of those knee pad things. Mom, I would get something for the house that wasn't a knick knack. Framed pics of her grandkids, A new set of wine glasses. I'm not sure about the husband. My man is way into computers and i know nothing about them so I let him pick his gifts. Good luck.

Mom- spa day; go out on an outing where you guys can get massaged and pedicures etc... etc...
Dad- what about movies he likes? Get them on DVD and if he doesn't have one; get him a DVD with his favorite movie!
Nephew- definately a giftcard to like a game store (ex: Toys R US)
Niece- I would agree with clothes. but they're usually tricky. How about a purse?
Husband- something for the both of you guys. plan a day for just the both of us.

for any of the men:

The 'Space Pen", as used in NASA. It's metal, supposed to work from way below freezing to above boiling, upside down, under water, etc. I was given one to use in my work as a paving contractor in the summer, and it hasn't let me down. I've now gicen it as a gift a few times - always a unique item.
