You've only given us your opinion on two issues. Not much to go on. Especially since you take the Republican stance on gay rights and the Democratic stance on Abortion.

Who do you trust more, corporations or government? corporations

Do you believe in the separation of church and state? yes

Which is worse violence or sex (with respect to movies/music/games)? violence

my only recommendation is to not do what I did when I first registered to vote. I registered as an independent. If you do, you can't vote in the primaries.

Wow, you're still answering on both sides....Why do you like Bush? and why do you dislike "bleeding hearts"?

your answers to those questions will help. I'm actually a Democrat, though I think you lean Republican!

MY region of the country is Solidly Democrat. I had to register Democrat to be able to vote in local elections. But that is about as far as it goes. If I were you, I would look at the regional parties and see who is and has been in the majority for the last 100 years. ask around you will know who is the party of choice. Register as that party and vote as you will. No one but you, God (oops I hope the Thought Police don't see that), and the ballot reader knows how you voted. And the ballot reader doesn't know it was you in particular.

By your statement, it looks like you have already made up your mind. My advice to a first time voter, is to keep an opened mind, get all the facts, and follow your heart.
