Interesting questions.

Love is very important to a successfull marriage. But true friendship is as important if not more. To be good friends however is not enough to make that leap to marriage and the intimacy it brings. So both are very important.

True love does exist. However not without a continual renewing of that feeling. The truest love I know would be the love of a parent for their child. That kind of love is forever no matter what.

The answer to your last question must be in it's whole. You should only be with the one who loves you and the one you love. If either is missing you are missing the best part of love. And the scope of that love is very important. You loose the intimacy from your marriage and you loose everything.

Yes true love does exists! Not only is love important in a marriage but also communication, understanding and trust. Keep in mind that marriage isn't a peace of cake. hence the reason why the vows are for thick and thin. So when the bad times arise don't do like most people do and get a divorce. And if you have God in your marriage he will be able to hold your marriage together.

A good marriage is an intimate and loving relationship which gives both partners security, friendship, companionship, support, comfort, and deep love that penetrates every aspect of life. None of this can be achieved without work and sacrifice.

You've got a lot of questions mixed in there. To answer your main question. Is love important in a marriage. Well, that always depends on the two people involved. People get married for all kinds of reasons. But in general, Yes.. love is the glue of a marriage. If you want a marriage that will last .. your best chance of that happening is if you love the person, and they love you. Good Luck! :)

"Love" is the key factor in a marriage. It's what holds the couple together. The stronger the love, the stronger the foundation of marriage. If you have fallen out of love, then I believe that's the time to call it quits because a marriage cannot function properly without love. Me being the hopeless romantic that I am, like to believe in true love. I believe that everyone has had a true love and some are destine to be with them and some are not. I think you should be with the ones you love and love you in return. Overall, I believe that "Love" is the heart beat of a marriage and without it beating, it's slowly withers then dies.

Yes love is very important in my eyes. if you don't love them you will get bored over time. Marriage is supposed to be for life you should wait till you find someone you love. also 22 is so young you will spend the rest of your life with this person if you get married too young you will again get bored when the kids have grown and gone. I know so many people that marry this young and get bored after about 20 years they want a divorce. wait till you are older find the right man. I was married at a very young age I was 20 when I got married the first time. But love is so important. good luck

Love is not important. During our parents' time most of them are arranged marriage. Through statistics, most divorce cases are mostly on love then marriage rather than marriage then love. Love can blossom after marriage. Arranged marriage seems to last forever then love marriage. Its better to be with the one who loves you rather than the one you love as sometimes humans dont appreciate. True love does exist during our parents' time but not in our generations now.

Love is extremely important. Without it, there is no marriage. I believe true love exist. I just think people today let stress interfere with everything in their life. Including love. You should be with someone who loves you and someone who you can return that love. Who's want to be in a one sided relationship? I don't think anyone does. People do it. They stay in loveless relationships, but in the end, both are miserable.

For a marriage to last and be happy you should love each other. If you don't love each other then the marriage won't last, you must also trust and respect each other. Marriage is not easy and alot of work goes into making it work and keeping each other happy. There are alot of things you can do to rekindle your love, romantic night out, go on dates, marriage counseling. Try to work it out before you just run and file for divorce too many people take the easy way out instead of trying to salvage the marriage.

Love - you know it isn't just one thing. Love is alive and like people goes though stages and changes. The love you felt when you met and dated is different than the love you feel after you have been together through a ton of stuff. Then love turns from a fiery hot pit of excitement to a really comfortable pair of shoes that make your body smile when you slip into them. I think the longer you are together you know you are still in love because you don't hate each other.

People cheat and do stupid things to relive the exciting phase of love, but that isn't real love. Real love turns into compatibility and friendship - if you have that you are in the right place. If you just want to have some more passion don't confuse it with love.
