Did you notice on this last "Fallout" episode, that:
We know the cities of Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia and San Diego were hit, as well as at least 3 other locations attacked, because Hawkins pulled 3 additional pins out of the drawer before the episode faded off
And, that after shooting the escaped prisoners, when Emily and Jake and the other girl ran into the storm cellar, they left the 2 deputies, one of which we know is alive, in the trunk to die in the fallout?
Also, Jake sure seems to have an interesting past in those last 5 years he was away. Somehow, he's picked up the knowledge of demolitions. He's also taking charge of a lot of things. Odd for a "bum" character, unless maybe he was in the intelligence service too. No reason he would hide ordinary military service from his family, as they would be proud of that.

At the end everyone made it to their respective bunkers. The main character (Skeet Ulrich) took all the people from the hospital to a mine shaft. He blew up the entrance to seal them in. He then went to the farm and rescued his former gf. They made it down to the storm cellar just before the rain hit.
The rest of the town ended up under the town hall. They found the mayor and he was fine.
The cop from St. Louis went home to his family and took out the message he got from the radio. His wife made some cryptic comment about him always knowing what is going on. He then started plugging pins in to a map from the message. He put one in Atlanta, San Diego, Philadelphia, and Chicago and you keep seeing him pulling out pins. I think its other places that have been bombed.
