Why cant they just say "No sorry im not interested" instead of filling you with false hope. ie texting back, emailing back.

Well, usually if they come right out and say their NOT interested, they either don't want to hurt your feelings, or don't have the time to even tell you so.
Are they emailing you and text messaging, or are u saying their NOT? If they are, they maybe interested, but maybe involved right now, and wouldn't mind keeping you there in case the current situation ends. IF their NOT relpying to emails and such, then that's you clue their NOT interested.

Because we don't want you to hate us. It is really a bad situation, either try to nail the guy down with specific questions or realize that a guy who seems hesitant probably is. You just have to make your mind up, if he doesn't show true interest you just need to move on. There are plenty of guys out there, find one who wants and needs to see you.
Don't think that this is only something guys do. If you don't like it try to be better with your own actions.

Where would be the fun in that? It's best to string someone along in case you don't get a better offer. Always pays to have a back plan. Us men are bastards like that. Cos women never do that.

they hold on to you just in case they might need to call you again. like for a booty call. they dont want to shut you down completely. there may be some guys that really dont want to hurt your feelings so they just hope you will get the point and move on on your own. if they text or email dont answer.

Cause like their men aren't they. They are cowards, they like to keep their options open, they like to feel they are in control and they like to do the dumping when they have the next victim lined up. that way they always get what they want and they don't care who they hurt in the process. Quite often guys will text and email back because they do like you. Maybe not the way you want them to like you (i.e. just as a friend), but like you nevertheless.

because they are the weaker sex, they might be stronger in strength but when it comes to facing up to the truth they run or lie, sadly most are like children and see it easier to tell a bare faced lie then admit the truth, if they do this to you then clearly your better of without them and as hard as it can be you need to get over it cos in the long run its there lose and not yours. be happy :)
