More money being spent on breast implants and Viagra, today, than on Alzheimer's research?

I do not believe federal dollars are spent on breast implants, unless a woman has to have a mastectomy,(removal of breast/breasts)and if that is the case, medicare/medicaid may...pay for breast reconstruction.
Breast Augmentation is considered to be an "elective" procedure, therefore is not usually covered by any health insurance policy.

Viagra..it is true, many physicians prescribe Viagra, and it is covered by Medicare.(which I find ridiculous)

There have even been cases where men who were incarcerated were receiving Viagra, paid for by taxpayers. (unbelievable...tax dollars at work)
Some of the men receiving Viagra in prison, where there on sexual assualt, chld molestation convictions.

The federal government does fund Alzheimer's research, just not "embryo" stem cell research.

One of those secrets the Government does not want you to know is, Tobacco helps prevent Alzheimer's. Smokers are 10 times less likely to get Alzheimer's than non smokers.

We are still to close to the big tobacco law suits for the CDC to start telling people that tobacco is medicine.

With the baby boomers coming of age in a few more years they will figure tobacco is cheaper than long term care in a institution.

I see the opportunity for sales of natural tobacco burned as incense distributed by Indigenous people.

Oh come on! You never forget what to do with those! Sexdrive and hearing are the last things to go!!! LOL

They spend more money making stupid big screen films then they do on any sort of medical research....

The Polar express cost how much to make (stupid movie) yet not everyone can have affordable healthcare.. Or how about we throw mom and dad in a nursing home because there isn't enough funds to properly care for them.....

That's cause you are comparing two different things. Products and Research....

More people are spending more money on implant products and the PRODUCT Viagra but not on research in these areas...
