Having being Labour Party leader for a very short time previously i feel that Margret Becket has been unfairly ruled out of this comming leadership contest. Is she not worthy? Is she not the best woman for the Job? Why is it that all the contenders are male? Do we not have enough powerful Labour women? Come forwards Margret, Come forwards Ruth!
Would a Becket/Kelly partnership be the right thing for the UK? Throw in John Reid as Chancellor and for me its perfect. What do you think?

Please not Margaret Becket (your not her mother are you)
I remember when Mrs. T became PM evreyone said great things may change well they did didn't they.
I can't wait until the next General Election.
I would like to see Caroline Lucus MEP for he Green Party have a go. I expect you are a paid up member of the Labour Party.
I have never voted Tory before but I would vote for Anne Widdicombe if she were leader instead of Mr Cameron

We don't need a Prime Minister who's hobby is caravanning.
Plus, the 'leader' is only a means of putting a face to a name. there is no such thing as democracy in this country. everything is done in backrooms behind closed doors. what we need is a civil uprising to show these parasites (and i refer to ALL politicians) that they are servants of the people and they should serve us to the best of their abilities with all means at their disposal. they are not voted in so that they can lie to us and treat us like imbeciles. stashing our money away for their own benefit. every government has been worse than the last. it doesn't matter what name they go by the ultimate aim is to drive us into the ground, destroy our morale and belief in the power of the soul. millions of people are dying needlessly every single day and our main news headlines are Posh's new haircut.

'ear you 'avin a laugh

strong
usefull
worthy

she presided over a monstrous series of errors in her previous cabinet roles (especialy the rural payments agency), and made a mess of the DTI

she may be held in high regard by some memebrs of the Labour Party, but she would be an electoral disaster and a huge bonus for the Conservatives

and backed up by Ruth Kelly - have you thought of a career chaneg as a comedian

There is are no "Margaret Thatchers" there are no "Winston Churchills" at the moment , just a Rotten Bunch of Liars and Pretenders ,Posing as a "Government" who have done massive damage to Great Britain , Low Life Bunglers ,Self Serving Hypocites , who are the "Enemy Within" our once great country. The very Sight and Sound of this Army of Filth causes me to feel very ,very depresssed and creates a feeling of great fear for the future of Great Britain.

I think Becket is where she shoud be just now where her contribution is worthy of her position.

I think she would be out of her depth as PM. How do you think she would handle G W Bush?

John Reid for PM. ( not that we have much choice.)

I prefer to have a male Prime Minister unless, of course, it could be Ann Widdecombe. I really admire her for her values and for the way in which she speaks her mind without worrying about whether her views are popular.

You must be joking! She was my MP years ago and she was useless - you only ever heard from her when she wanted electing! She ignored dozens of letters from our neighbourhood group about local problems, then when I graduated I got this letter on House of Commons paper, congratulating me and hinting that she would like to count on my vote!
