My tie is wrinkled and I need the wrinkles out. I know that ironing it wont do anything, I learned that the hard way when I melted my last one. Can someone help?

Ya' iron will do the job!!!

Just be sure to have the low/silk setting!!!
Cover with a "very" slightly dampened washcloth (Almost dry!!! Otherwise ya' risk H2o marks!!!), then iron tie, protected with washcloth!!!

Can also toss in the dryer...Dryer on a very low setting, again with a very slightly damp washcloth!!!

Another alternative (This is first gig I do with my clothes, while on vacation)...Hang in restroom while running very hot H2o in shower, close restroom door, this will steam out most wrinkles, then take a (hair) blow dryer to tie, etc.!!!

The best way to care for wrinkles in silk is to steam them out. Next time you take a hot shower put the tie on a hanger and bring it into the bathroom with you. Try to keep it close to the shower but make sure it doesn't get wet. The longer you keep it inthe steam the more the wrinkles will come out.

As you get older the muscles on the forehead get more active hence the wrinkles. Recently I read a review on Stemnucell a clinically proven wrinkle treatment which helps to reduce the dead cell on the skin and give glowing face. You may try this.

Put a cloth, like a clean dishcloth over the tie, and steam iron it on a low heat, with quick sweeps through the cloth. Dont hold it on the same place for long, even with the cloth over it, and even on a low setting. It takes a few minutes, but does the trick.

How To Iron A Tie

take a slightly damp cloth and lay the tie out flat on it and then fold the damp cloth over THEN run the hot iron over the damp cloth. The moisture keeps the tie from burning and the wrinkles come out.

Hang it in the bathroom when you take a shower. The steam from the shower will get the wrinkles out.

Use a low temp, no steam(!). Steam might stain your tie. Some irons have a silk setting. Or take it to a dry cleaner
