If you are too slow, can't afford or are unable to attain an education,-- a job, health insurance, if you somehow are not good enough are don't fit in, you are to crawl in a hole and die-- and your kids too, or better yet, they believe it's better to hand your children over if you don't have money.--That's right, hand the kids over and stop your sobbing.
Aren't they a lovely Christ-like crowd?

Oh, you typical whiny liberal, obstuse and dense. You invoke Christ without the least understanding of Him. You put words in our mouths that we never said, distorting the truth to further your agenda.

It is obvious your mind is closed to understanding - you are so convinced you are right, that no facts, truths or evidence will sway you. You've found your religion and brook no heresy, eh?

There are plenty of able bodied people out there taking a free ride on the liberal gravy train. Some people need help, and some just feel that we, the taxpayer owe them a living. Those people can work if they wanted to and pick themselves up and make something of themselves. When you make an all encompassing statement about Conservatives like that, you are showing yourself to be a close-minded individual, the kind of person you are trying to paint Conservatives as.

Captain2man is a great example of another close minded Liberal. I'm middle class. To say I would stab my grandmother in the back for a few cents is ludicrous. These all encompassing characterizations of Conservatives is nuts. And by the way - about your last comment - Christian charities take care of millions of people every year, which is indeed very Christ-like.

How Christ like is it to create a class of people that expect the government to spoon food them? Plus I thought liberals wanted religion out of government. Shouldn't they be the ones to expect the charity to come from private organizations, like churches, not the government?

Actually, I believe there needs to a safety net for the poor, but the liberals want to create socialized systems that punish the people that have achieved some success, so that they can "feel" good. However, they refuse to accept that socialism is only a means to redistribute wealth and take away incentive for achievement.

When you take morality out of the achievements, you get people that think like captain2man.

ignore Adam -- i've read some of his other answers & he has no idea what he's talking about.

Conservatives promote Social Darwinism (although they deny actual Darwinism) because they hate the fact that they live in a society that - oh no!! - actually has social obligation!

Conservatives at their core believe in the "every man for him/herself" - and would stab their own grandmother in the back if it meant making a few more cents.

Liberals appreciate that they are part of a larger society....and that society is healthier when EVERYONE is healthier....it benefits YOU to live in a society with a healthy educational system, a healthy economic system, a healthy healthcare system, etc.

Conservatives don't appreciate anything like this....it's all about getting as rich as possible....with no regard whatsoever to the society in which they live.

Why don't you support the lazy slobs that can't make it in this country?

Since when is pandering to parasites the samething as charity?

Are you one of those lib-tards who normally believe in Darwinism except when it comes to one of your own?

umm wow, didn't get the memo, please think and pretend you know what your talking about.

its the liberals that are to busy slapping labels and separating people. The republicans want you to work for a living. If someone can make money off a staircase for lapdogs to get onto your sofa. you can get off your *** and do something to.

thanks for the memo, and all I do for a living is college for now, private college, payed for my dads, middle class job along with the savings from mine, as the libs put it.

thanks for the thumbs up captain2man
