Its like the "no purchase necessary" note I saw on the inside of a candy wrapper (for a contest).
Seriously, tho', people have different tolerances for hot water. I'm not that good with it. I burn easy. The place was probably covering their butts because people will sue over anything these days.

If you turn on the hot water only, for a minute it will be super hot. Once burned my hand from it.

The hot water at my house is just warm some days, and it's sometimes REALLY HOT. Our water heater is a piece of crap.

It all depends on what temp. they have it. If it said very hot, I would believe them and be very careful. Some water heaters can be set to 180 degrees.

Hot water is hottest when you’re standing in it. If I don’t stop answering questions and get back to work…the water will be hotter still.
