I have seen quite a few questions on St. Patrick's Day here in YA. I have not heard of the "pinching" custom.
You will probably see more questions as we get closer to St. Patrick's Day.
Around here it's just an excuse to get drunk.
Although, in Cleveland, Ohio (near where I live)- the parade is quite fun!

i can't believe no one has heard of pinching someone if they are not wearing green! i actually hate the idea of that, i don't like random people touching me very much.
