8 times out out of 10 when I see a young couple the guy is dress in loose fitting clothes, while the girl is dressed in tight jeans or an ultra short skirt. Why is it that our dress code sez it's okay for guys to be sloppy (baggin), but the women are required to show all thier stuff (sex kitten)?

It depends on where you are in the world. In Europe there isn't this obssession of guys wearing pants that are two sizes bigger. Guys in Europe look totally better because they can wear more fitted clothes and it doesn't even occur to anyone to consider them gay. But here in the US, if a guy wear his size of jeans or a better fitting shirt which should look fitted not skin tight (like Russell Brand skinny jeans -eww) then that guy must be gay! So this conception keeps guys from buying their size.
A lot of women wear baggy stuff in the US too. The average woman won't necessarily be that trendy, I see everyday, women who think it's still the 1980s.

I don't know where you're from, but around Chicago it's only the thugs that wear those droopy drawers, hanging down under their butt, looks like they just got man raped in prison, (baggin) and only the back alley street whores wear the lycra jeans about to burst, way too tight short skirts, and tops with rolls of blubber squishing out all over (sex kitten?)
Around here it appears that people pretty much adhere to a more corporate type dress code, or maybe they just have self respect.

i think the dress code for society has drasticaly changed over the last couple of years... i see more and more men going for sophisticated, classy, and more dressed up looks compared to the baggy, loose and sloppy looks. as for women, the look has gone more sophisticated, but still holds a little sex kitten in the back ground. I like to dress sexy, but i leave more to the imagination then left out in the open...

People dress on the outside, as they are on the inside. A uncareful guy will dress sloppily. A cheap girl, will dress like a slag.
On the other hand, this is planet earth, and here we have lots of people who dress on the upscale too.
And while you can't judge a book by its cover, exactly, clothing is the easiest way for a person to represent "self."

That isn't our dress code. It is the poor choices of the people that are wearing it. You probably only notice that type because you are a guy and guys tend to notice when girls dress like sluts.

The baggin' style come from jails. Supposedly though, if you sag your pants if means your someone's *****... so I love to tell the young boys that... and tell them it looks gay when they show their butt off to everyone... that usually resonates with them. The women? I've always wondered that too. Personally I wouldn't want to get so much sexual attention, but maybe they feel starved of attention for other aspects of them... they don't have sports accomplishments, or academic accomplishments, or parents who praise them at home and give them attention for the positive things in life... and so they seek out positive attention from boys by flaunting their sexuality.

It's solely the choices of the people wearing those clothes. They are probably caught up in trends that are made popular through the media. Human behavior, I guess.
