Okay she was suspoed to get her period this week, but they way she discribed it to me was "it wasnt how it normally was" meaning that instead of red it was brown. She took a pregnancy test this week but it came back negative. And now she is throwing up in the morning, but not everymorning. Could she be pregnant?

Why is she bothering with those home tests if she's worried about being pregnant? Why doesn't she just see a doctor and find out for sure and if not pregnant she will learn why her last period was the way it was. And if anything is wrong with her the doctor will let her know and this way she can be treated for whatever it is.
Those pregnancy tests aren't always 100% correct anyway so finding out from a doctor is so important so I hope your friend gets herself to the doctor right away for her own sake.

My source says yes! That was how I found out I was. Now I am 4 months. She should wait a week and then test again. If it is still negative then she should go to get her blood tested. The pregnancy test dont always work. The blood test is 100% accurate.

Possibly, however pregnancy tests are usually 99.9% effective. If she is under stress her menstrual cycle could very possibly be "off". I would tell her to take another test in about a week or go to the Dr. just to make sure.

Your friend should see a doctor. She might be sick, but not pregnant. It could be a flu or food poison. Not every female's period is the same everytime. It varies depending on the hormones.

it may still be too early to tell, all she can do is wait, give it more time and if her "normal" preiod doesn't start, then test again!

i know at least with myself, my cycles are not always the same every month! for the most part they are, but there are a lot of things that can make them seem NOT NORMAL...................stress, diet, lack of sleep, anything!!

so just tell your friend to be careful for now until she really knows!

good luck!
