I think Colin Powell was the smartest and most intuitive of all members of the Bush administration. I liked his appointment, and was very sorry to see him leave his post after the first term. I did not think it boded well at the time, and the administration certainly seems to be less effective with him gone.

Colin Powell had a glorious career. He traveled all over the world. His wife does not have the health to have him globe trotting any longer. He held some extremely stressful jobs. Let him be retired in peace and do his motivational talks now and again.

I really like Condi, but I do agree that Colin Powell was exceptional. I really wish he would run for office himself.

He is a good man but we have a lot of good people in the Bush Administration who continue to serve and PROTECT the United States.
I really like the job Condoleeza Rice is doing.

it sure me sent a clear message...the man said..whoo, I helped you get elected but I'm outta here buddy...it was pretty obvious...i didn't vote republican, but if I had, I would have been voting for the cabinet he put together,,,then they all left!!
