What's your favorite movie soundtrack from the 80's? For me I would have to pick "The Lost Boys". The music was so cool at the time yet none of the songs made it to the radio.

My favorite 80's soundtrack is "Dirty Dancing". First I had the album, then the cassette, and now the CD. :) I also like the "Stand By Me" soundtrack alot. And you're right-- the music from "The Lost boys" is cool. I have that CD. I like the songs "People are Strange" and "Cry Little Sister" the most.

Say Anything (loved "in your eyes"), The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink and even though it didn't come out in the 80s THE WEDDING SINGER has some of the best 80's songs on its soundtrack!

Top Gun was a good one featuring Kenny Loggins "Danger Zone". My has Tom Cruise gone down hill since that time.
