depends on if you have insurance or not. I only pay a $15 copay for each visit.

A well visit (check up and immunizations) is usually free. A regular visit (for sickness) depends on the insurance you have. Our copay is $25. Many doctors do not accept self-pay if you don't have insurance.

It's very important for infants (0-2 years) to receive regular check ups and vaccinations. There are a number of forms of aid that you might qualify for if finances would otherwise prevent you from following through on this.

it depends............do you have insurance coverage, if so, there are usually no fees for "well-visits", (the usual scheduled check-ups for vaccines, etc.) and sometimes a co-pay for other office visits (the unexpected visits when your child falls ill and you need to have the dr check it out!)

that's how mine works...........and i have a 10$ co-pay!!

i have no idea though if you do not have ins.
but if you don't there are a lot of programs out there for you to get coverage for your child!!!
No child should go without coverage, it is easy today to find coverage for your child, no excuses!!

good luck!

If you are low-income you (or your baby) probably qualify for Medicaid or a program just for kids called the SCHIP program. You have to fill out papers to get enrolled, and only American citizens are permitted to join.

These programs would give you free care for your baby or the cost would only be $3 or $5.

It is VERY IMPORTANT for you baby and your child to get regular visits to the doctor.

good luck.
