Well, first off, does she like being geeky? If she don't then find some ways to change it. Makeup tips in magazines like Cosmo are great. Getting some cool clothes for cheap (at tj maxx you can get cheap trendy stuff that you can throw out it you don't like.) Forever 21 is cheap trendy stuff too.
If she likes being geeky she should join a geeky club and meet other people with similar interests as her. I'm assuming you are a little younger because older men can look past geekiness. Especially if it is super smart geekiness. Good luck, and make sure you both have fun!!!

Hey sweety,
Yeah, she needs a huge make over and some confidence to own the town.
You should give her a girls night inn and do make and a clean up on her face, nails, feet, hair, and most of all make sure she smells great cause I know that guys don't like smelly girls.
You should prob take her to a salon and get some color and layers in her hair and then take her to buy a hot/cute outfit, but don't buy something too trashy cause you still want the guys to respect her as a lady not as a easy gal.
When she finds a guy tell her not to be too desperate with him and play it cool, she must still keep up her look everyday cause you cant just do it once and them go back to being a geek.
A great outfit for her if she is not too big are some skinny jeans, a long tight form fitting shirt and knee high boots over the jeans....wow that's hot..

What's wrong with nerds-the meek are supposed to inherit the earth.However if she being a nerd isn't attracted to her fellow nerds then she needs to figure a few things out and re-evaluate somethings.Either make some personal changes or else seek out what kind of dude does tickle her pickle and hope she does the same for him.If not be a good friend take the guy out,get him hosed,get her knocked up,tell him and his mother when she's almost due.MAKE SURE IT IS HIS KID!!!Eventually he'll come around.Works on the soaps!!!(thee-hee-he!)

Find a really geeky boyfriend for her. Chances are, he will appreciate haveing the attention and will treat her nice. Nerds are the best boyfriends. But no one realizes that until they wind up with 3 kids, devorced and unemployed at the age of 26.

Sorry, I don't know exactly what you mean by the word 'geeky'. To me, that just means a girl who is smart and somewhat socially inept- wears glasses, etc.
I encourage her to just be herself. She should keep her core self in tact, but I think that we can always improve certain aspects of ourselves while maintaining our integrity. Don't you think?
Okay, for example, she could maybe get contacts. Or, whiten her teeth. Or wear some really nice looking formal clothes.
Personal hygiene is important. Your friend can have more confidence if her breath smells fresh, and she smells good.

Why does she need a boyfriend to somehow solve being nerdy? For that matter, what's wrong with being a nerd? It's far, far better than being some arrogant, empty-headed superficial bimbo who has no idea what the capital city of her own state is. If your friend really does want a boyfriend, then she needs to find one who likes her for her own sake, and not sacrifice herself or her identity just to impress some idiot jock. There are LOTS of decent guys out there, if you know how to recognize them and how to avoid the morons.

Definitely give her a make over! New hair, clothes and so on.....
Also do something to boost her confidence. Like pay a guy or if you have a good male friend ask him to go up to her and tell her how pretty she is and how he really likes her new look. Trust me she will continue with the look for the attention, and eventually will build up enough confidence to get a boyfriend.

Guys like girls who are confident. I am a huge dork but I like me and any guy would be lucky to be with me. Because I know that guys know it too! So if it is your best friend you're reffering to in this question be really nice to her. Build up her confidence by complimenting her on the great things about her. If its you your reffering to remember that your great and guys will think that too.
With a little confidence boost guys will be knocking on the door in no time!
