Do you agree that the subway stations in Tokyo are too much hot and humid during the summer season?

The stations are terrible. It is hot and humid and the crowds make it worse. There is nothing worse than being hot and squished between hundreds of other hot people on a subway.

I agree it is [too much] hot and humid during the summer, not just in the subway stations in Tokyo but almost everywhere (I have never been to Hokkaido so I cannot comment about that island). There is a lot of humidity in Japan in the summer... but it is bone dry in the winter.

Yes it is hot and humid but, everywhere is hot and humid in Tokyo in summer time. Next time you are in Japan in summer time you should visit the northern island Hokkaido. Lots of country side, mountains, friendly people and mild temps.

Yes it's hella humid in the subway stations!!!!
Even inside the trains it's sometimes too hot. (When they turn off the AC) but for some reason the people sitting or standing around by the window NEVER OPEN THEM!!!!
Why is that? Why? It drives me crazy sometimes.
I've seen girls feint inside the trains because it's so hot.
But do they open the window? NOOOOOO.

Yes, Tokyo is uncomfortable in the summer. Maybe they could use the water from Tokyo bay for cooling, the way buildings in Toronto use Lake Ontario water in the summer.

We went in late September and it was incredibly humid! Even though it was so hot, most people were wearing pants and long sleeves!!!
