i'm married with one 2 yrs old daughter. i'm 2 years married also. my problem is my wife. she has this attitude that i can't bear. everytime we have a little argument she can't help but end up shouting. which i find very scandalous. just this past few days we also had a little argument and i tried to avoid talking with her. what happened was she keeps on telling our helpers bad things about me. there are some secrets or matters that should be kept only by spouses.. so i decided to tell her frankly that my love for her has gone. since she don't seem to respect me anymore.. and i want a legal separation since there's no absolute divorce here in the philippines. do you think i have a valid reasons or requisites 4 legal separation?

It sounds like some separation would be good for both of you!

She is not fighting fair, which is only making you avoid her... and it will probably continue unless you take measures.

From your previous question, it sounds like there is a lack of emotional connectedness in your relationship and that you're in a situation which needs drastic CHANGE.

I am not sure about the legal parts, but it does appear as if you've been unhappy for quite some time and a separation would probably be healthy for you both!

Yes, I would say you have valid reasons for separating. First reason is that she doesn't respect you or show respect for you. Second of all, you don't love her the same way anymore.

I think you should find other measures of trying to resolve your problems before resorting to seperation or divorce. Can you go to therapy? Have you told her that you do not like to yell? Maybe something is going on with her that is causing her anger. Therapy would really help.

No I don't I think if you would listen to her and talk with her even if she yells you two could work it out. Avoiding her will only make matters worse.

keep trying to talk and explain the privacy/respect issues--you have to make the final choice, but make every effort to keep it together
