Was the food gross? Were the waiters/waitresses rude? Did it take a long time for you to get seated? Did you demand a refund?

Trini's in the Old Market in Omaha Neb. I live here. The waitress argued over who's section we were sitting in in. then it took 15 minutes just to deliver the drinks. The food was all wrong. I think the waitress was deaf, because she didn't listen to a word we said.

And then another 20 minutes to get the food order right. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that the manager was on a smoke break.!!!! and that I had to wait. I demanded to speak to her NOW. Well she was also RUDE. Made me pay for the drinks and the food anyways because we ate half of it. This was 4 years ago and I haven't been back. So if your in the Old Market in Omaha don't go to Trini's. It's a Mexican Restaurant. Now Nettie's also a Mexican Restaurant in Omaha is the best!!!!

INNER MONGOLIA. I was at a living history museum a few hours away from Hohhat. We were the only people not from Mongolia or Thai tourists (I guess Mongolia is big with Thai people). We were sat at the dirtiest, smallest table in the corner. We didn't get waited on for about 30 minutes and of course there was no where else to eat. We watched as all the other tables were served a million courses of hot and delicious food. Then we were served room temperature Mutton. It was horrible. After that I was more sick than I have ever been. What made my illness worse was the Chinese medicine I was told to take.

My ex-wife and I were in a major sit-down restraunt chain. She really had a taste for a grilled-cheese sandwich, but they only had those on the childrens menu. We asked the waitress anyway. She informed us that they couldn't do that, it's policy.

I said, "I'll pay more, that's no problem." Nope, it's policy. So, I asked for the manager, explained the problem, got the same answer. I told him we're here with 10 people, we'll all be ordering drinks, I'll pay the cost of the highest thing on the menu ($18 T-bone), just bring here a grilled cheese sandwich. No deal.

So we all walked out. Went to another place, which didn't have grilled cheese on the menu at all, but they made her one anyway.

Applebees.

I ordered som epasta and the pasta was mushy. It was overcooked beyond overcooked. I am unsure how it even held together.

I complained and got a hamburger, which they somehow cooked in less than 5 minutes. Precooked==Yuk.

At the end, they had the nerve to charge me for both meals. (I ate one bite of the pasta). The waiter said (politely) that she was unable to remove the charge. The manager had to come (after 20 minutes) and I had to explain it again. He started the line about how I should not have eaten it, which I had not eaten any of it.

It took some convincing, but he eventually and regretably removed the charge

Uva Trattoria and Sushi Mambo in Napa. Both places were mostly empty when we got there. They had opened already but all the servers were too busy getting tips and tastings from the chef. My husband's food (steak) came out way before my sushi which is raw! Uva, the server rarely checked on us and the food was late too! We had another thing we needed to go to, so both times I asked my food to be packaged up. Then it was delivered to the table on a plate! Then it took more time to have her go back and put it in a to-go. Then I had to carry it around all night.

Neither time was the food that great the next day. And I didn't tip decently on either occasion.

I was dining at a fine Mexican food restaurant one time, and a cockroach crawled up the wall from below the table toward the ceiling. It was as big as a catallac. I pointed it out the waiter, but he only gave me a discount. I never ate their again.

I'm used to bad service at Chinese restaurants, you just take it for granted as long as the food is good. However, this one restaurant I went to with my boyfriend really pissed us off. I don't even remember what it was about the service while we ate, but when we asked for the check and my boyfriend refused to give them tip....one of the waitresses actually came up to us and told us we didn't pay the tax. Not the sales tax, because that goes to the state. No, we forgot to pay the 'tax' for their service. -_- Too bad that place is known for having the best peking duck in the Bay Area. I don't know if I can ever bring myself to go back.

We waited in line for 45 minutes, another 30 minutes to get served (stood up from the table and looked for a waiter - please keep in mind the place was not busy and had many tables vacant and closing time was 4 hours from our arrival), waited 30 minutes for the food, one entree was missing from the order, manager assured one item is going to be on the house from our long wait, bill was given and we have not finished yet and it appeared we were still being charged for all items, manager came up and apologized again.
