Well, define sectarian violence:... Now if you could describe it as the armed minority murdering tens of thousands of another minority and oppressing the majority. You've just described the regime of Saddam and his B'ath party.

Sure, Saddam had his nation under "control"... if you didn't agree with his ideas, you disappeared and your family got the bill for your torture. If you were a group who disagreed... he'd send in his army or simply use gas to destroy your village.

Oh, free press to report these things ?? HA !! Remember "Baghdad Bob", the Iraqi Press Minister... announcing "how the mighty Iraqi Army was driving off the devastated American Army" even as that devastated Army was crossing the bridges and entering Baghdad ?

What's truly happening in Iraq is Iran & Syria are slipping in agents, arms, and explosives from their governments to foment violence, hatred, and unrest among the factions of the Iraqi Nation.

Iran sure as heck doesn't want to see a secular DEMOCRACY in between it and the rest of the Gulf Nations it seeks to conquer in the next decade.

One thing would help... gather up all those arms and explosives.

Definetly less. True enough there are quite a few dead bodies from sectarian fihghting today, but the fighting is kept at a low level by the presence of Coalition troops. Also the fighting is more even handed (assuming we consider it a good thing).
In Saddam's time the killing was one sided, with the sunnis killing the shia and the kurds by the thousand- including the use of poison gas, heavy artillery and bombs. We have PROOF (as in the number of skeletons found) of AT LEAST 300 000 iraqis murdered in Saddam's time (that is NOT counting the 1 milion med killed in the Iraq/Iran war)

How do you outline sectarian violence? Does that contain Saddam murdering three hundred,000+ of his own inhabitants and gassing better than 5,000 Kurds? there changed into also no loose press in the previous Saddam fell to inform the global about each and every of the violence.

Bush has far ex ceded Saddam in war crimes. The Bush regime killed more Iraqis in July than Saddam's revenge against the Kurdish people of Northern Iraq.

If you take the total dead and wounded number of Iraqi citizens during the Bush 3,1/2 year reign of Terror. It out numbers Saddam's 27 years as dictator.

That proves that Bush can out kill Saddam 7 to 1.

Way more. Of course the Kurds were attacked (this ended during the Gulf War because American/British troops were stationed in the area in which they live) but for the most part they were left alone for years. Everybody else mixed with each other or kept to themselves.

Uh...Yeah....WAY MORE NOW! Has difficult as it is to swallow for republiQaedans, Saddam had control of his nation before we went in. Now there is absolutely no control, and terrorists abound in the glory of Dubya, after all the terrorists have Dubya to thank for liberating them from Saddam's control.
