All racism is prejudice, but not all prejudice is racism. For example, wealthy people of any particular race may be prejudiced against poor people of the same race, and poor people of that race may be resentful of wealthy ones of the same race.

racism's root word is race... so racism is against a race prejudice, on the other hand, is an inequality among people and classes... both are based solely on ignorance...

prejudice is when you "pre-judge" someone based on how they look, how they act, what you've heard, etc. you make a judgement about them before you get to know them or learn anything more about them.

racsim is about dislike, disgust, or hate strictly based on a persons race, color, or religion...plain and simple.

we can be predudice against anyone...OJ, Scott Peterson, your local dry cleaners...etc., but true racsim is something learned and taught out of ignorance and stupidity.
