I'm wondering the parking
brake goes to the floor on my 2001 Sierra and
it failed safety inspection here in Tx.
The turnbuckle under the cab is tightened
down to the stop and I don't see any adjustments
elsehwere. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks! And was wondering what parts i need to buy and if possible a step guide lol

Check the Connections to the turn buckle where the rod connects to the brake pedal. I bet something has come loose o sheared because the pedal shouldn't go to the floor. you can test the brake by pulling on the turn buckle to see that it operates the brakes in the rear. but I'd look tward the pedal. Good luck. n if you still can't figure it out, you could take it in for a "brake inspection" free at most brake places.

Most common is the brake cables are worn and disconnected or even non-existent but this is rare in a car as new as yours. Might require a dealer service manual.
