desire to be an individual and unique? Unfortunatly so many people have the peircings and tattoos that it isn't original or unique to display them anymore.

Well this is a new style, we would not understandit but it what they like..... i went to the old navy to get some jeans & the jeans i picked up had a rip on the side about 1'' long, so I asked the person there to find my size, when she did I went and tryed the pants on & it had the same rip on the side so I went 2 her and told her she said that's the style.. I was like really a tear in the pants is a style, so I checked the price it was $37.00 for a rip pant !!!!! Aint that Sh** crazy?
I can get my old jean and cut them up and sell them for 40 bucks too...
These people just have money to waste ..... don't even let me get started on the people who buy jeans with the splash of paint on them for 50 to 100 buck now that is just dumb.......

Each to their own mate.
I'm not one of those guys, but it's their bodies and they can do with them as they wish. If we were all the same, life would be boring.
They're not hurting anyone by having piercings and torn jeans, so why does it bother you so much? I personally wear no fashion labels, but cheap clothing that I don't have to worry about damaging. I'm not hurting anyone, so I think that's fine. I'm friends with a few people that won't wear anything without a label on. Not my cup of tea, but they're not hurting anyone, and they're great people, so I'm not bothered.

Many young people like to experiment with clothing, cosmetics, hair styles and bodily piercings as a way to self express. These are choices that may not be your choices or mine, but we all need time in our lives to experiment. Gererally it is a phase that people go through before settling a more mature way of presenting themselves. Unless they are being disrespectful to others, let them be...they will outgrow it in the end. Choose your battles where the young are concerned.

i wear what ever is comfortable. If i wear my jeans cut up in the knees or on the butt pocket i can. Also with the stud thing, i guess you are talking about piercings? They are just fun and leave little to no scar

I think they just don't want to work and that's the best way they can think of to keep from being hired. I wonder where the guy works that looks like a tackle box exploded in his face.

it's just style, it's not screaming for attention. older generations have ALWAYS been ragging on younger generations about their style - even back in the 40's and 50's. look at elvis in the 60's.

I hate how ignorant some adults are, and how they take everything that younger people do the wrong way. piercings and clothes are someones individuality, if someone starts slitting their wrists then thats needing attention.

Welcome to old fogey land. Have you forgotten when our parents said the same thing about our styles and fads. I do, thats why I just look and enjoy the youth of today being the youth of today. I refuse to be the fuddy duddy my folks were.

i used to wear a cuted jeans n not get an attention i used to like it n in that time i used to like everything dirty n cuted n i remember the feelings lol was wonder full
