I was sacked for sleeping in my office, but that was no the end of it. I had to report the bosses office for a warning and while i was waiting for the boss i fell asleep in his own office and it was then i was sacked.

I was 17, working on the reception of an Earls Court hotel and my male manager tried to force me to have sex with him when I was in in a storeroom in the basement! Was a nightmare, he was alot stronger than me and i had a real struggle to get him off me and run away. He then sacked me saying that I wasnt doing my job properly. Looking back I wish I had sued or something, but I was too freaked out. I was quite exceptionally cute those days, everyone wanted a piece of my ***, guess this is the price I paid.

Best or worst? Can't be good to be sacked! I was sacked from a factory position when I ripped a muscle in my back doing overtime. They didn't view this as dedication, they viewed it as an inability to do my job and I was dropped. Got paid for the month I was on the box after I was sacked though!

Fraud!!! From Safeway (Morrisons). I was 17 and I used to swipe by own ABC card on other people's shopping. I thought it was a good scam, but they said it was fraud! Got to keep the points though! I was also sacked from First Choice because I was always late. That's what happens when you only get 4 hours sleep!!!

The man never got round to sacking me... but he would've done if I'd ever gone back....
I was working in a local corner shop/post office when I was 16... man his wife was so hot... she came on to me big style and one thing led to another... we were out the back yard with her bent over a picnic table and me behind her [I'm sure you can picture it] when the owner/husband pulled up on the drive at the back of the shop in his van. The van was high enough to see over the hedge and to clearly see what we were doing... man... I have never run so fast in my life.. I ran back through the shop pulling up my trousers as I went - much to the amusement of the shoppers.... lol
I later learned that it was a sort of hobby she had and that her husband didn't seem to mind!
Do you think I should have gone back for the wages he owed me? LOL

I've been sacked for a dumb reason. I was hired to do a job and had some experience but required training. When they didn't provide me with the training and I was unable to do the job then I was let go. Really a blow to the ego for sure.

I was resident manager for some apartments and worked with an much older woman. I was there to do the job i was highered for.... well... for some reason she thought she had seniority over me because she was 30+ my senior. @ first i just told myself to deal with it. After about 6 months I had it. One day I was sitting @ my desk and she TOLD me I needed to do something. I looked at her and told her "shouldn't you have retired about a half a century ago? Why don't you go home and knit me a blanket!" Well she didn't like that very much considering she was probably only about 53.
She called the owner and he didn't find it as funny as I did! :)

I was actually fired because I was pregnant with my first child and I had worked at this place for three years and the labor board said it was not a discrimination of race or sex so it was legal. I got pay back with them though because the person they kept could not do the job and they had to bring me back at double my wage to clean up the mess she made. Everybody gets pay back at some point.
