I also had the depo shot. After I got off it the first time (I was on it for 5 years) it took almost 2 years to get pregnant. But the second time I was on it and wanted to get pregnant, it only took 4 months. The easiest is to look on sites and learn about ovulating. You'll learn what the signs are and when to have "lots of sex" and when you don't have to. Basically, after getting off the shot you have to wait until your body is back to normal, which means watching your periods and learning about ovulation. About a week and a half after your period, you should notice what is like egg white or clear snot sort of discharge. That's when you need to have sex. Good luck!

It can take 6 months to a year to get pregnant after stopping depo if you don't get pregnant after that then talk to your doctor to do some tests. you can also buy tests that let you know what days you are ovulating they are like $10 or something . and then just make sure you have sex allot n those days. Good luck and hopefully congrats!

have sex during the time you ovulate. I am ttc after depo too! But my last shot was up in April. They say it can take 6,months-18months after depo.

Ovualtion calenders online help you to determine when you are ovualting.

My advice would be for you during your ovulation have sex and
after it stay put for few minutes. Do not wash yourself right after
intercourse. Rest for a while, take a nap.
Your system will let you feel to have an urge for sex to procreate.
In most cases it will work.

I just asked a question about this.

You need to learn about your body adn see if you're actually ovulating or not. Charting your basal body temperature and monitoring your cervical mucus is the best way to do this.

check out www.fertilityfriend.com -- it'll show you how to do this.
