No clue about insurance or lack there of,
no clue of how little you need to make to be eligable for government assistance,
They think going to the ER and running up hospital bills in the thousands replaces health insurance for pete's sake!
Why are they so ignorant and misinformed about these important issues effecting ALL in America-- ESPECIALLY THE "MIDDLE" CLASS.

well, roadhazards, I have very good health insurance now, thankfully, but I remember what it was like not to have it for almost eight years with a serious health condition, and not be eligable for ANY government assistance and not be able to afford insurance, AND have NO charities willing or able to help.
I KNOW what it's like. Many don't until it happens to them.
I think conservatives are filled with blind optimism. and I mean BLIND. It either means you are young or naive. It has nothing to do with laziness, or the inability to afford or attain an education-- how flawed is that thinking? VERY.
And whining? That's an awful way to sum up severe social problems in your country.
Look at Canada. They are doing JUST fine. Funny, though there's many a conservative in Canada, you never hear them btch about their taxes.....hm .

none of 'em have worked - really worked - a day in their lives, it's pretty clear.
they think having a job means being able to live like they do on daddy's allowance.

Hmmm I am a Conservative and have been since I was 18 years old, BTW I'm 45 now. I know all about the cost of living and I have lived with out health insurance before. I am one of the MIddle Class you speak of, and I have to pay my own way.
The problem with your thinking is that you somehow think health insurance in a right, well here's a news flash for you, it ISN'T. You have no more right to government provided health insurance than you do to government provided housing, food and transportation.
Where do you think the money to provide "everyone" with health care will come from hmmm ? TAX DOLLARS !!!! If you want free health insurance from Uncle Sam you have a few choices. 1. Raise taxes, not a good idea since most of us who work already feel we are over taxed at the present time. 2. Reduce or eliminate other goverment programs to pay for the new one you want. So will we get rid of Welfare, Medicare, The EPA, DOE, DOD etc... ?
As I said earlier, I have lived with out health insurance before and I have health issues that require I see a doctor several times a year. There are millions like me and yet somehow we manage without the whining.
I suspect that it's most of the Libs who are very young and ignorant about the cost of things as well as where there money will have to come from to pay for their Christmas list of wanted items.

You can't blame this one on the Cons, the Dems are just as guilty. They block bill after bill that would regulate the malpractice insurance industry, which is the highest percent of cost you're paying on a medical bill.

Try personal responsibility. Why should I suffer financially for your health care?
Why should the fact that you apparently have misused your educational opportunities or are not ambitious enough in your work opportunities to earn your own keep mean you have any entitlement to my money via socialistic scams?

You have it in reverse...First we vote democrat because we dont know any better. Then as we grow up we learn that we really DONT want higher taxes and to pay for other peoples addictions when we have a family to feed and cloth..a mortgage to pay taxes to pay...
