I basically have the same problem.
I've found a couple of Avon products that seem to work a little better than store bought brands.
My favorite is Dew Kiss. But probably the best is Moisture Therapy Intensive Moisturizing Treatment which the guys in my family like too. These are both chap sticks.
Avon also has a product, Beyond Color Lip Recovery Cream, which they claim has a moisture lock system. It is colored, however. I've not tried it as of yet.

You need a lip treatment. Avon has some there are others in almost every line of cosmetics. You put this on under the lipstick. I even found a very affordable one at walmart called New York Color. It looks like a chapstick but it lasted a lot longer and it went deeper. I could not find it the last time I looked but your walmart might have them

I have had the same problem and I am not sure why it started but, I have found that "Carmex" works great. It has a gloss appearance at 1st but, if you use it lightly it only gives the appearance that you maybe licked your lips.

Carmex is great. I also like a lip balm from a brand called Hempz. It's made from hemp and keeps my lips a lot more moisturized than anything else I've ever used.

yeah a lot of lips gloss make your lips glossy but doesn't do any thing else.

Try the Blistex in a jar bc it works really good. try the blue and pink and see which one works best for you!!

Lip gloss won't keep your lips hydrated if thats what you're looking for... try a medicated chapstick they work pretty well.
