You may want to find out the cause of his dislikes. Is it due to the taste? stomach discomfort? or previous traumatic experience? Then, corelate to him a story that will encourage him or get him to say yes. Like i used to tell my boy, in order to grow and be strong like *cartoon character* or similar event/cause, drink milk.
If your boy is lactose intolerance, do switch to soy milk as these also provide the basic needs. If your boy is more than 1 years old, i would recommend to supplement his diet with supplements of vitamins and minerals. I do give my boy cod fish liver oil as well. As you shop around, you find the products that your boy will like and beneficial to him. My challenge is to find a product that my boy can take without forcing him to and value for money. Yup, i'd found it already. And i also tell him what is he been taking, so it is not something that will frighten or hurt him.
To conclude: communicate with your boy and find replacement if necessary. Supplement the diet and make it a joyful activity.
Cheers to parents

Wow, he has stopped already. Dont tell anyone I am 21 and still drinking milk. I used to warm it up and drink it now I drink it cold, I think your son no longer wants milk, it wont be a bad thing if he doesnt drink milk, because he may get all the required calcium through other sources like Yoghurt/cereal bars. I believe its the time he doesnt like milk, and just let him get on with it, dont force him, try an alternative like orange juice or hot chocolate... that contains milk.

Hope thats ok. Keep the milk going.. I love my milk!!

Think about this for a long time. Human's are the only species that give there children milk after they are weined. I have 3 children and gave milk to none of them and the facts are they were never sick- Calcium is found in lots of things, veggies, yogurt, cheeses, ect. If the kid hates milk it really isn't worth the worry- check out the following source

Never force a child when they don't like something just try other things that have calcium. Like yogurt they have all different kinds of flavors and they have special kinds for kids. Give him ice-cream or milk shakes, orange juice or cheese the pull and peel kind kids like those. My 3yr. old son doesn't like milk either therefore I searched and searched until I found what he does like. "There's always more than one way to skin a cat." Good Luck

My daughter has always hated milk, even choclate or strawberry. But she loves cheese and yogurt. So I let her have plenty of that. Or buy Viactiv. Its a calcium supplement and it tastes like a candy chew. Very very easy way to get calcium and Vitamin D.

Try and see if you can get him to take calcium pills. That way you are not having to force him into taking anything he don't want to. But like the other person said you could try chocolate milk but you have to be careful how much chocolate he is getting.!

Try other dairy products, they are also a good source of calcium and he will never know you are keeping him healthy. Also, make foods that require milk in the recipe...

Hmmm....maybe try yogurt or chesse or get some of those chewable calcium tablets for kids......some of them taste really good like the Flintstone vitamins and those gumball vitamins-----good luck......you could also ask your son's pediatrician.
