well u can watch like youtube, but thats not CABLE TV, thats still u kno datagrams and Sh!t
but if u have cable TV, u can
buy a PCI TV tuner card, install it into your PC, then u can hook up a co-axial cable 2 the back of ur PC lik it were a TV, but u need cable tv service not just cable internet for that
otherwise u can watch TV on the internet maybe

Cable internet means that you have a cable that allows you to access the internet through a certain speed. It is not related to cable tv. Therefore, you cannot watch tv on it. However, you can definately download a show and watch it on the computer.

You can watch recorded files, but live stream you have to have a software for that. I have cable and I watch live TV coming from Jordan and TV Palestine I watch that using Real player but the quality is poor, I read some were you can watch live TV if you have cable you buy TV card and install it.I never done that.

Well, if you have only a 56k-connection, you should forgot it, its too slow for TV or any other kind of video streaming. For watching TV I propose a Highspeed-Connection with not less than 786k. Otherwise you will have to load ten to twenty minutes for five minutes TV - ugly, isn't it?
But if you're in the luxuary to use your TV-cable-connection, try it! Then only your PC sets your limits...

u can't means u cant unless...it doesnt make me ur boss..but just tell u the fact...however u can watch videos some recorded tv shows...thats all...for watching normal tv in internet..u need tv tuner card installed and tv cable connected to ur systemmm....
