I have just read the book called 'FRED' by David Hall and would like to know if any of his fans cried at the end like I did??? I was blubbing like a big girls blouse. Great read though.

Yes I did too, he was nice guy and very interesting. His death was very sad and the book is an excellent celebration of an extrodinary, oridinary life!

Fred was a true character and although I havent read the book I have been watching him on cable get his DVD set the final one is the funeral in Bury He cared pasionatly about the countrys heritage he was a one off who else would drive a gut traction engine th the dorset steam fair Via london hold up the traffic on Waterloobridge and have a photo taken with Ken livingstone
