The AFL-CIO's interest is for their employees and not special interest.

It is made up of many local chapters, so you may find local chapters that are more liberal or conservative than others. However, I am quite sure the AFL-CIO is neutral. However, they tend to be more Democratic since the Democrats are supposedly more pro-labor. That doesn't mean it supports all the Democratic policies.

The Unions are pro-Union and they will back who ever backs them. Unions have been typically democrat, so they are pro-choice.

i don't know or care (or if it makes a difference) what I don't understand is why they haven't endorsed the anti-illegal laws now before congress.....
