I saw the Bills play on Sunday and was intrigued with the new red buffalo on their helmet. Totally boring - the logo that is.

That's actually the logo that the team used from 1960-1973.

It's a throwback as others have stated. But have you seen the new Sabres logo? I know they wanted to bring back the old blue and gold, but maybe a bit more blue would be in order.

Hopefully whatever color the Bills are wearing, especially on their helmets, J.P. doesn't have a sudden bout of color blindness and pass to the wrong color. I always said that when Johnson was the QB that was his biggest problem.

Those are not new, they're OLD! Buffalo wore those in the 60's and 70's. What you saw were "throwbacks".
