Why do you wanna stop it?

Like them or hate them, it's something we have to put up with for most of our adult lives.

You can't stop nature nor can you stop time, so therefore, there is no way you can stop a period. Call it a 'time out', (if you know what I mean) and stop bothering yourself with silly little things like this. Life.is more important, get on with it.

My periods have been light for a few years now. I was told about ten years ago I had polycistic ovaries. They told me then that if my periods stop for more than three months, to take hormones, because there is a cancer risk if the uterus is not cleaning itself naturally. So I suppose this is part of perimenopause, as the flow lessens.

Why would you want it to stop. Really, not having your period regularly leads to higher risk of ostiopersosis and other health problems.

I know it kind of hurts, I know it's kind of messy, but take a minute to rejoice in the knowledge that you're a healthy woman.
