Why “world peace” is not achievable? Well, at least under his presidency.

“You’ve got to be able to speak clearly in order to make this world a more peaceful place” ---George W. Bush, Springfield, Ohio, September 27, 2004

DUHbya is a monkey that's for certain. How a man of such diminished moral and intellectual fiber became president of our great country is beyond me, the scary thing is that it speaks volumes about the "average" American. It's time to wake this country up, Vote Democratic :)

At least the example you used is a real sentence. I'll give him credit for that. When speaking spontaneously, most of what he says is on a 3rd-grade level.

This guy is leader of the free world? Scary!

Okay already, we get it. You leftists hate Bush. Christ, your inane and childish questions stopped being funny back in 2003. Give it a rest already.

Well Michelle....

You are right, President Bush did make that comment when he was in Springfield, Ohio in 2004.

You neglected to say why he said that though. President Bush was talking about John Kerry. Here is the part of the speech leading up to the quote you made...

I went and asked for $87 billion of additional spending for important -- this is an important piece of legislation, after all, it's for ammunition, fuel, spare parts, body armor, hazard pay, health benefits, things necessary when you've got your troops in combat. This money was going to go to not only those in Afghanistan, but Iraq. It was vital.

Fortunately, members of Congress here knew how vital it was, and they stood up like most of the members of Congress and voted, "yes," we'll fund the troops. As a matter of fact, the support was so strong that only 12 members of the United States Senate voted against funding our troops, two of whom are my opponent and his running mate. Now, when you're out there campaigning, I want you to remind the good folks of this statistic, that only four members of the United States Senate, who said, yes, we're going to send troops, but, no, we're not going to pay for them. In other words, yes, we're going to send troops by authorizing force -- they voted to authorize force -- but then when the troops were in harm's way, did not vote the money to support the troops. Only four of the 100 members of the Senate -- four voted that way, two of whom are my opponent and his running mate.

So they asked him, they said, how could you possibly have made that vote. He said, I actually did vote for the $87 billion, before I voted against it. You've got to be able to speak clearly in order to make this world a more peaceful place. (Applause.) You cannot expect to lead this world if you try to take both sides of every position. Finally, they kept pressing him. He said, the whole thing's a complicated matter. There's nothing complicated about supporting our troops in combat. (Applause.)

I think it was pretty clear. He was referring to John Kerry trying to play both sides of the issue. We all know how *clearly* John Kerry did that on numerous occasions.

You're just plain MEAN, Michelle; you should FEEL SORRY for the President if he's unclear - after all, his mommy probably didn't raise him as well as your mommy did you, isn't that right?

Michelle: Do you have a link to your hyperbole or do I have to go to the urban myths website AGAIN.

If you have no link to prove that it happened then it didnt happen.
