I hate it when ANYBODY goes door to door. I do not open my door for anyone. Not even a Girl Scout. It's just wrong to go knocking on people's doors. If I wanted what you're selling, I'd go out and get it. Be it God, a cookie or a magazine. I don't even answer private calls on my phone. GO AWAY!!

I think you are talking about Jehova's Witnesses they are doing what their religion beleives in like the apostles did and I let them in and let them know what I think is right andd wrong with their religion as I have been studying my Bible faithfully the Bible also says this is a good thing to do. However they banged on my door once at 8.AM on a weekend and I answered the door in my drawers and 9 mm in my hand aint had one since.

The only ones that have come to my door are Jehovah Witness.
I have answered the door on many occasions. Mainly because, their beliefs differ from mine. So I tend to put them on the spot and ask them questions. They soon get tongue-tied and excuse themselves from my front porch.
I am in no way saying they are bad Christians, I just don't agree with their faith. Religion is a choice not a demand. My choice is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible. BUT again, that is my choice.

Those people are Jehovah's witnesses and their religion tells them them to go out and witness (tell others about God) from door to door. I'm not a Jehovah's witness but I understand their purpose sometimes I talk with them and read the books and sometimes I just don't answer the door. It's your choice.

Yes I do, I find it quite intimidating but also annoying. I dont see why they have to come a force it upon you. I answer the door in my dressing gown and make out I was just going into the bath, that soon gets rid of them.

No, I LOVE it!!!! When I lived in a house and would see them in the neighborhood, I'd strip down to undies and wait hopefully until they knocked on my door. Then I would open the door and startle the cr*p out of them. Now I live in a security entrance apartment building so they're pretty safe from me. HAH HAH!!!

I don't hate it because they are doing what they feel right but yea i have been known to turn lights and tv off and stay quiet till they leave.

yes. it's really annoying. i just sit on the couch (by the window) and pretend i don't hear the door bell. once the windows were open and everything and they started talking to me through the window. they are rude to shove their beliefs down other people's throats so i'll be rude back by ignoring them.

I hate it. I peer out the window at them suspiciously until they go away. Next time, I might try telling them I'm a Muslim, see what they do.
