I was registered to vote for longer than that an didn't get picked. Then I finally did but the trial was cancelled so I didn't do anything but sit for half a day. Got payed for it. Then I got another summons to be on the Grand Jury. Not only did they pick me, but they made me jury foreman. Quite the responsibility because you do it for a year.

but my brother was called to jury duty 2x in one month and about 5x since he been a registered voter and he's only 24 years.

Yes. Eight hours in an uncomfortable chair...We had to buy our own lunch...All I got was a lousy six dollar check in the mail.

yes twice but I didn't have to serve on one cause I had a young baby,and the other I was dissmissed because I went to highschool with the guy who was on trial for murder
