Seems to me when the wall came down in Germany it was a good thing. Is it Canadas fault that Terrorists get through US Customs crossing the border? We may not catch them getting into Canada but its not like we let them into the US. I get told all the time when I go to the US, that I have to stop letting Terrorists into the US. I like the US people and dont want them blode up anymore than I want me Blode up. It takes 10 minutes for me to get through US Customs but 2 hours to back into Canada and I'm born and raised Canadian.

A few points

Bush has not mentioned a fence there.

Comparing a fence there to the Berlin wall shows you have no grasp of either situation.

not at all. what i am concerned about is the proportions of illegal aliens in our prisons, the number of illegals getting free health care, the rising burden for providing for these people who put nothing back, the increasing regularity of the mexican army invading my state (texas), and the fact that they are hurting law abiding citizens of this country. I work in insurance and am shocked at the number of these people who do property damage to my insureds and have no coverage at all. here in houston, we had a police officer shot in the back and killed by an illegal just last week! i want a fence, i want it patrolled, i want extreme force used to stop this invasion.

To be honest? its kind of stupid. If someone wants through badly enough, they'll find a way. Its just like the wall he wants to build down here in Texas. Theres no practical way to enforce it.

Yes. I think the fence is a bad idea.

#1-"blode up", please tell me you are at least an Albertan, try "blown up".
Thanks to Bush, the worlds longest undefended border will now be defended. Maybe we will keep more us guns & thugs out. We can hope!!!!!!!
