It is sad that today people cannot be close best friends without others thinking that they are in a sexual relaitonship. I enjoy having close friends around without having this question hanging around. One of the main problems is that it is not just celebrities, but ordinary people who encounter this. Please let me know what you think of this.

Hang with your friends, and forget about what YOU THINK people are thinking. Let people think what they want. You can't stop them.
So what if they think you are gay; you know the truth, right?
And if you ARE gay, who cares?
Live your own life, and be kind and generous to idiots. You can't control other people, but you CAN and must control yourself.

I'd like to think its okay...but my best friend and I go through the same thing and we're of the opposite sex. We go on trips together, she spends the night at my house, I spend the night at her house and people think something is going on between us. I have a g/f, she has a b/f. They dont see a problem of what were doing...but everyone else seem to have one.
I say, forget everyone else end enjoy your friends. Who says you have to limit the pleasures of life just because a few people think otherwise. Life is too short to care about what other people think. You know YOU are not doing anything wrong so why care what other people think. Enjoy your friends, because in this world...sometimes they are the only ones that trully will care about you.

Without ALL people thinking that... No.
People who find it difficult to have close relationships with others and only get past the casual acquantaince stage with those that they are romantically involved with will view other people with close relationships as romantically involved whether same gender or not...

Two people of the same gender can be close friends. What others think of that is up to them (the others).
As long as you do nothing to give them cause to be scandalized, there should be no problem.

I have a man but got out with my best girl friend to the clubs. He hates to go so I go with her. I go to have a few drinks and dance with her. I have never asked or came onto a guy when we are out. I dance only with her, and it never seems to fail. We will get a least 2 to 3 guys who will come up and start dancing with us and ask if they can come back to our place and watch us have sex! It use to piss me off at first but now I just laugh. It is a sad world when you cant dance with a friend without someone thinking something!

There comes a time in our lives when we have to stop caring what others think of us. There are a lot of perverted people out there. Ignore them as long as you know it shouldn't matter what everyone else thinks.

I just don't care what other people think. It's a waste of time. You don't have to answer to anyone about your relationship w/ your friends.
